Ready for Class? Steps To Help You Start the Semester

Congratulations!  You’ve made the first step towards your future with Texarkana College.  You’re registered for classes but now what happens?

Technology Tips

For the first two weeks of the academic semester, all academic courses with a start date of January 19, 2021, will be held remotely (*Unless notified otherwise by your instructor).

  • If your course is a flex or hybrid class, you will meet on Microsoft Teams at the time listed on your student schedule.
  • Web classes are asynchronous and will open up on Moodle or Jenzabar on Monday, January 18, at 8am. For access to your web courses, please follow this link- texarkanacollege.edu/helpdesk/how-to-access-online-courses/
  • *Health science programs in nursing, EMT and pharmacy tech will receive an email from their instructor as to the first day of classes.
  • *Dual Credit students will receive information from their instructors on accessing course information.

As a TC student for Spring 2021, it is necessary for you to have access to a computer that meets TC Computer Requirement Policy and to be able to log on to the Microsoft Teams platform using your student credentials. Microsoft Teams is the online platform your instructors will use to connect with you remotely. Please do not delay in setting this program up on your devices.

Please ensure you have a compatible computer! If you do not have access to a computer and wish to purchase one, the TC Bookstore has affordable laptops available to TC students that you can purchase using your financial aid. Find more information at the bookstore.

TC has wi-fi hot spots available for students throughout campus. You can access the hot spots from the listed locations on the campus map.
