TRIO Talent Search TAMUT Scholarship application

Talent Search Seniors

Texas A&M University – Texarkana has generously provided Texarkana College Talent Search Staff with ten $1000 stackable scholarships to be awarded to students planning to attend in the Fall 2024. To provide a fair process for student selection for this scholarship Talent Search staff has created an application process. All students wishing to apply must do so by May 15, 2024. Please pay careful attention to the scholarship instructions.

Criteria and Eligibility

Applicant must be a participant in the Texarkana College Talent Search program.
Applicant must submit a completed scholarship application.
Applicant must submit proof of acceptance into Texas A&M-University – Texarkana
Applicant must submit proof of completion for the 24-25 FAFSA application
While scholarship winners will be announced by May 31, 2024, winners must show proof of enrollment into TAMUT by June 30th or they will forfeit the scholarship.
Applicant cannot have already received the $1000 stackable scholarship from their high school counselor or any other organization or entity.

Scholarship Awards

Texarkana College Talent Search will select 10 students to receive the $1000 scholarship.

April 1, 2024: Scholarship Application Available

Applications are available online at www.texarkanacollege.edu/trio-talent-search/scholarship/ or in person with a Talent Search staff member.
Applications can be submitted online or via email at talentsearch@texarkanacollege.edu
Applications submitted in person can be turned in to a Talent Search staff member

May 15, 2024: Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted by Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm CST.

May 31, 2024: Scholarship Winners will be notified.
June 30, 2024: Winners must show proof of enrollment or forfeit their scholarship.
