Advising

First-Semester Academic Students: Meet with an advisor to discuss class selection and any disability needs.
Advising is optional for Continuing Students.
Notice, Workforce students must consult with relevant faculty or advising prior to registration.

If you have not had a chance to check out Career Coach you might do so before you meet with Advising.  Career Coach is a tool that will let you explore careers in our local job market.

Orientation – College 101

First-Semester at Texarkana College students: Sign up for College 101.  Learn more.
This step does not apply to Continuing Students.

Parking Permit

You’ll need a parking permit to park on campus.  Buy one for $15 at the Bursar Window or in the Business Office.

Pay for classes

Tuition and fees are automatically deducted from your financial aid awards. You are responsible for paying any remaining balance.

Students must pay by the posted payment deadlines or their classes will be dropped for non-payment.

Student ID

Come by the Admissions office and get your photo taken and your Student ID badge printed.
This step may be skipped if you have a current Student ID badge.

Buy books

Visit the bookstore in the Truman Arnold Student Center or online bookstore.
