Palmer Memorial Library

The Palmer Memorial Library is committed to creating opportunities for student success by providing quality research materials and services in both print and electronic formats. The library functions as an academic support center that encourages higher literacies leading to success in upper level courses and career paths.

The Palmer Memorial Library has a partnership agreement with the John F. Moss Library at Texas A&M University Texarkana to serve the students of both institutions.

With the mission of teaching information literacy, the Palmer Memorial Library is committed to creating opportunities for student success by providing quality research materials and services in both print and electronic formats. Through its instructional programs, the library functions as an academic support center that encourages higher literacies leading to success in upper level courses and career paths. Through its public service programs, the library involves the community of learners in educational activities and opportunities for lifelong learning. The library supports the mission and goals of Texarkana College by providing materials, instruction, and services to students, faculty, and staff, both on campus and through distance education.

To contact the Palmer Memorial Library directly, you may call 903-823-3215 during operational hours (Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-9pm; Friday: 7:30am-4pm; and Sunday: 2pm-9pm)

The Palmer Memorial Library has a partnership agreement with the John F. Moss Library at Texas A&M Texarkana to serve the students of both institutions. Student ID cards from either institution may be used to access either library’s print materials and computers.
