  • For best results, if your application requires an essay it is better to write your essay before starting the application form. When presented the opportunity to include your essay copy and paste from your editor into the form.

  • PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • The Presidential Scholarship will be awarded in the full amount of tuition and fees.

    This Scholarship is intended for the completion of an Associate degree and will be awarded for two years or until the completion of 60 credit hours.
    • If you are a 2021 graduate from a public high school in Bowie County, have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.25, and are ranked in the top 15% or top 10 graduates of your class, you are guaranteed acceptance for this scholarship.
    • If you are a 2021 graduate from a public high school in Miller County, or one of the following schools in TC’s Service Area: Atlanta ISD, Avery ISD, Bloomburg ISD, Linden-Kildare ISD, McLeod ISD, or Queen City ISD, and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.25 and are ranked in the top 15% percent of your class, you are guaranteed acceptance for this scholarship.
    • If you are a 2021 graduate from a public high school in Bowie County or one of the schools listed above and do not meet the criteria for guaranteed acceptance, you may apply and must also submit a paragraph with 300 words or less describing your academic and career goals and attach to your application.
    • If you are a 2021 graduate from a private, charter, alternative, or home school in Bowie County, Miller County, or in any of the above-listed school districts, and have a 3.25, you may apply and must also submit a paragraph with 300 words or less describing your academic and career goals and attach to your application.
    Application deadline is April 30, 2021.

    All recipients must be TSI met in all areas by June 30, 2021.

  • ATTENTION

    The Presidential Scholarship is for 2021 graduates of Bowie, Miller, Cass, or Red River counties only.

    If you are a continuing student please consider other scholarships for Texarkana College students.

  • Are you a 2021 graduate from a public high school in Bowie or Miller County, or one of the following schools in TC’s Service Area: Atlanta ISD, Avery ISD, Bloomburg ISD, Linden-Kildare ISD, McLeod ISD, or Queen City ISD, and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.25 or higher?
