Located in the twin cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas, training grants are available from both states.

Arkansas Existing Workforce Training Program
The Existing Workforce Training Program (EWTP) provides financial assistance to Arkansas’s eligible businesses for upgrading the skills of the existing workforce to adapt to new or altered technologies and/or acquire new skills needed to remain competitive and economically viable. Training is for full-time, permanent employees or those enrolled at an Arkansas institution. Reimbursements are calculated according to a set of scoring criteria. Texas Skills Development Fund
The Skills Development Fund is Texas’ premier job-training program providing local customized training opportunities for Texas businesses and workers to increase skill levels and wages of the Texas workforce. The Texas Workforce Commission administers funding for the program. Success is achieved through collaboration among businesses, public community and technical colleges, Workforce Development Boards and economic development partners.
