Workforce students entering programs after November 5, 2014, are required to take the TABE Online placement exam.
TABE is a computer-based placement predictor required for Workforce students. TABE requires students to be assessed in Reading, Math Computation, Applied Math, Language, Language Mechanics, Vocabulary, and Spelling.
Students must obtain a TABE Ticket for Assessment & Placement from an Academic Advisor prior to visiting the Testing Center to take a TABE exam and pay a $20.00 proctor fee for Health Science and $20.00 for Workforce. Exams are administered on a walk-in basis during testing center hours.
Students must start TABE exams at least 5 hours before the testing center closes. Students must present a non-expired picture ID to take a TABE exam. Calculators are not allowed during TABE exams, the test contains a built in calculator.
All other Testing Room Policies must be followed during TABE exams.
