Texarkana College and UT Tyler Celebrate New Transfer Pathway for Students

On Wednesday, June 18, Texarkana College and The University of Texas at Tyler solidified their ongoing partnership with the official signing of a new transfer agreement. Held in the Truman Arnold Student Center, the signing ceremony marked a significant step toward expanding educational access and opportunity for students across the region.
This agreement establishes a seamless transfer pathway, allowing TC students to move directly into bachelor’s degree programs at UT Tyler. Leaders from both institutions expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting its role in helping students stay on track toward their academic and career goals while maintaining an affordable and accessible path to a four-year degree.
During the event, Robbin Bass, serving as the District Director for U.S. Congressman Nathaniel Moran, presented both institutions with a congratulatory letter from the Congressman, commending their joint efforts to enhance educational opportunities in Northeast Texas.
