BLS HEALTHSAVER CPR INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Course Overview:

This course is designed for individuals seeking to become instructors for American Heart Association (AHA) programs. It provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach AHA courses.

CPR Instructor Training Prerequisites:

Texarkana College. Prerequisites for CPR Instructor Training: Be accepted by an AHA training center before enrolling in Heart saver Essentials Course and have a completed instructor application on file. Have a current Heart saver First Aid CPR AED card and be proficient in all Heart saver provider skills. Complete the Heart saver Instructor Essentials course online and classroom; print certificate of completion for entry into hands-on portion. Be monitored teaching first course within six months of completing classroom Instructor Course. Register on the AHA Instructor Network and be confirmed by your primary Training Center for issuance of instructor ID number, required to issue provider eCards.
