Class meetings vary week to week. All times are between 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

About the Program

In this 6-week program, qualified students will receive the following at no cost:

  • Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement
  • 40-Hour HazWOPER
  • HAZmat
  • Forklift Operation
  • CPR/First Aid/ Bloodborne Pathogens
  • OSHA 10
  • $14/hr stipend for classroom hours

  • Must be unemployed or underemployed
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or a GED (Assistance may be available to obtain a GED)
  • Must be physically able to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work in confined areas (Not claustrophobic)
  • Consent to criminal background check
  • Consent to a drug urinalysis
  • Consent to a physical exam (CDL)
  • Must work at least one full year after the completion of the training courses and receive quarterly calls from grant staff during that first year to get your valuable input on the program and your career
  • Must be willing to complete all the courses in this program
