  • US citizen or permanent legal resident
  • 19 years old or older
  • Bowie or Cass county resident
  • Low Income
  • First Generation College Student
  • You have never earned a certificate or degree from a college or vocational program

GED Students

Texarkana College TRIO-EOC team partners with the Adult Education & Literacy Program for students interested in earning a High School Equivalency Diploma.

The Educational Opportunity Center team is located on the Texarkana College campus in the Nelson Administration building in the Office of Enrollments services.

*The Texarkana College Educational Opportunity Center is funded through a grant from the United States Department of Education. The grant is funded for $241,900.00 through August 31, 2021.
