Trustee Election Information

Notice of Candidate Filing Dates and Deadline for Texarkana College Board of Trustees Election
June 20, 2024

 

The first day to file for the Texarkana College Board of Trustees (Places 3, 4, and 5) election is Monday, July 22, 2024 at 8 a.m.  

Place 3 aligns with Bowie County Commissioner Precinct 3, encompassing the northwest area of Bowie County. Term ends 2030.

Place 4 aligns with Bowie County Commissioner Precinct 2, encompassing the southwest area of Bowie County. Term ends 2030.

Place 5 is an at-large position, encompassing all of Bowie County. NOTE: Candidate will run for the remainder of the term which ends 2026.

The candidate election packets will be made available in the Office of the President of Texarkana College at 2500 N. Robison Road in Texarkana, Texas. 

Filing Deadline is Monday, August 19, 2024 at 5 p.m.

Early voting is from October 21 to November 1, 2024.

Election day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
