Lifespan Growth and Development is a study of social, emotional, cognitive and physical factors and influences of a developing human from conception to death.
PSYC 2315 A – Psychology of Adjustment (3,3,0).
Study of the processes involved in adjustment of individuals to their personal and social environments.
PSYC 2308 A – Child Psychology (3,3,0).
This course will address psychological development from conception through middle childhood with references to physical, cognitive, social and personality changes. Students will examine the interplay of biological factors, human interaction, social structures and cultural forces in development. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the required TSI test or successful completion of PSYC 2301.
PSTR 1301 W – Fundamentals of Baking (3,1,5).
Fundamentals of baking including dough, quick breads, pies, cakes, cookies, tarts, and doughnuts. Instruction in flours, fillings, and ingredients. Topics include baking terminology, tool and equipment use, formula conversions, functions of ingredients, and the evaluation of baked products.
