Checking TC Email
Dr. Donna McDaniel discusses the importance of checking your TC Email regularly.
As I mentioned earlier, it’s very important that you check your Texarkana College e-mail.
This is the only way that we have to communicate with you, so it’s that is how your instructors will be communicating with you. That’s how financial aid will be communicating with you. That’s how your faculty advisor will be communicating with you. I encourage you to put it on your cell phone to put it on your computer so that it automatically defaults so that you are checking it regularly, not just once a week. Not just once a day, but regularly check your Texarkana college e-mail. We not only send you e-mail personal emails, we can, we send out TTC alerts which are important information that you must read immediately.
We send out TC today which is general information about events that we have coming up on campus.
And I said, I said before financial aid, that’s how they communicate with you as well as everyone else on campus. We also have what we call our Rave alerts. In is an automatic message that is sent out to your cell phone and that you have automatically been signed up to receive rights. These are these are more like emergency messages that go to your cell phone. Sometimes they actually reference you to check your TC e-mail For more information.
So I strongly encourage you to check your Texarkana College e-mail and have it accessible on your phone and computer.
