Medline – Created by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE is an authoritative bibliographic database that contains citations and abstracts for biomedical and health journals used by health care professionsals, nurses, clinicians and researchers engaged in clinical care, public health and health policy development.

Medline Plus – MedlinePlus is the National Institute of Health’s Website for patients and their families and friends. Produced by the National Library of Medicine, it brings information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues in an understandable language. Users can use MedlinePlus to learn about the latest treatments, look up information on a drug or supplement, find out the meaning of words, or view medical videos or illustrations. Users can also get links to the latest medical research on topics or find out about clinical trials on diseases or conditions.

Natural and Alternative Treatments – A complementary and alternative medicine database designed specifically for the consumer-health researcher.

PubMed – PubMed comprises more than 22 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include lines to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web site.

History, Geneology, and Government

Bibliography of Native North Americans – This bibliographic database covers all aspects of native North American culture, history, and life including a wide range of topics. Digital Texas Sanborn Maps – Produced for over a century, more than 666,000 Sanborn maps chart the growth and development of more than 12,000 American towns and cities. Sanborn maps are large-scale plans of a city or town, drawn at a scale of 50 feet to an inch.
