Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a Microsoft-delivered feature that allows an enrolled user the ability to reset their own password.

Enrolling in Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)

  1. After SSPR has been enabled by your Administrator, login to your TC email and you should be prompted with the “More information required” screen, click Next.
  • Click Set it up now to configure sign-in methods.

Example of Mobile phone: text and verify phone number

Enter your phone number and select either the Text Me or Call Me option to verify the phone number.

  • Once you have completed your sign-in methods, click Finish to complete the setup.

Note: You may be prompted to enter your password again after clicking the Finish button.

Update Sign-in Methods

  1. Go to
  2. Click Change next to the sign-in method you wish to update.

Add Sign-in Methods

  1. Go to
  2. Click +Add Method and configure the method you would like to use.
