1. From the Texarkana College website, http://www.texarkanacollege.edu, point to the myTC apps, and a drop down menu will appear.
  2. Click on the Help Desk link.2
  3. Click on Log in when the Help Desk window appears. Also provided on the right side of this page are links to articles for “How Tos” and related college information.3
  4. Login to the Help Desk using your Texarkana College user name and password and click Log in.4
  5. Once logged in, click on Submit New Ticket.5
  6. Under the Priority section, click on Please Select and click the appropriate priority.6
  7. Under the Type section, click on Please Select and click on the appropriate type.7
  8. In the phone number text box, enter the most likely number that you will answer. You may be contacted by phone sometimes.
  9. In the email address text box, enter your email address that you check often. You will be contacted by email.
  10. In the location text box, please list the location if there is one.
  11. In the date text box, please enter a target date that you would like the issue resolved.11
  12. In the Subject text box, enter a subject. This will need to be at least 10 characters and may be up to 50.
  13. In the Description text box, enter a complete description of the issue so that the ticket can be directed to the appropriate person.
  14. In the file text box, you may upload a file to help with the issue. The size limit is 2 Mb and the acceptable files types are listed.
  15. After completing the ticket, click the Create Ticket button.15
  16. After clicking the button, a message will appear indicating that it was successfully submitted. In addition, an email message will be sent to the email address that is associated with your user name, which is your official TC email address.16
  17. If you have an update, you may type in the text box and click the Reply button.17
  18. To check on a ticket, click on Tickets and then on View Tickets.  In addition, emails will be sent by the system when any replies are entered for that ticket. In the email, click on the link to view the action. You will need to login if not currently logged into the Help Desk system.18
  19. View the Replies section to see what actions need to be taken or if the issue is resolved. Also check the Status section to determine if the ticket is still Open or Closed. An email will be sent indicating that a reply was entered or the ticket was closed.19
