You’ve always kept a cool head in a crisis. Needles never bothered you. And when you scraped your knee as a kid, you didn’t close your eyes when mom poured on stuff that bubbled and stung. We can turn your talent into a healing career and a healthy paycheck.

Registered nurses in the state of Texas earn up to $75,000 a year. Texarkana College’s Associate Degree Nursing program is one of the oldest programs in the state—thousands of our region’s nurses and healthcare workers got their start right here at TC.

Ready to get started? Texarkana College is now accepting applications for the Associate Degree Nursing Class of Fall 2017. You’ll need to attend a mandatory information session prior to applying. Request your information session by March 5 by filling out the form on this page!

Associate Degree Nursing

The ADN program at Texarkana College began in 1959 and graduated its first class of nurses in 1962. Since then, TC has trained thousands of nurses and healthcare professionals in our region. This program typically takes 3 years to complete—one year for general education requirements and two years for nursing courses. On completion, graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed as Registered Nurses.
