We love it when our students tell us that our faculty is the best thing about Texarkana College, and we want to tell the world! That’s why we asked students to take a selfie with their favorite professor(s) and share it with us. Check out some of our entries below. Are you a TC student who missed the contest but still wants to show off your favorite TC professor? Email us at photos@texarkanacollege.edu and we’ll add you!

Congratulations to our selfie contest winners, pictured below! To see more entries, check out our Flickr album.

Katie Jewell with winner Angela Brown. "I totally enjoy Professor Katie Jewell. She is an awesome instructor. She truly cares about ALL her students. The only way you will fail her class is if you fail yourself."

Winner Tiffaine Scott with Helen Frazior. Mrs. Helen Frazior is the best professor at Texarkana College. She has been teaching for years and still has a passion and love for her students. Our first class meeting, she expressed she was a cancer survivor. I thank God every Tuesday night he helped her to fight one of the hardest battles of her life. She was told at a young age she wouldn't be able to go to college! She proved a few people wrong. She is true inspiration to myself and others!

Cindy Ramage with winner Cavan Bilyeu. "Mrs. Ramage is always upbeat, smiling, and expects the very best from her student (because she gives the very best of herself as a teacher and mentor.) She also got me involved in the Texarkana College Debate League and is the only professor who has given a class breakfast on finals day. Now that's awesome!"
