STARTING FROM SCRATCH, CHOOSE THE BEGINNING LEVEL:

FRENCH 1411       OR       SPANISH 1411

Any of these basic courses on the Novice Level will help you to acquire key words and phrases, talk about future and daily activities, carry on simple conversations and learn basic structures of the language.



BUT...
If you have studied one or two years in high school, you may consider improving your novice level, and get credit for what you know. 
You may enroll for: 

FRENCH 1412      OR      SPANISH 1412

These elementary courses will help you to acquire a strong control of a basic vocabulary, handle simple situations, talk about experiences in the past, and learn structures necessary to move up toward the Intermediate Level.



IF...
you had more advanced training, 
you may select the intermediate level offerings:

FRENCH 2311, FRENCH 2312
OR
SPANISH 2311, SPANISH 2312

At this level you may learn to create with the language, carry on conversations, narrate and describe events, talk about past occurrences or about what may or might occur, ask and answer questions, and survive predictable situations.


The knowledge of a foreign language is one of the basic requirements for entering and advancing in occupations as:
