Dr. Chris McAllister
Introducing our speaker...

David Saugey brought us all
a little closer to "Fred's" world

Meet Fred... the Wonder Bat!
Check out those set of choppers

Fred hangin' out between takes...

Fred loves crickets!  Crunch... crunch!

Fred was kind of a messy eater, but we all would be kind of messy
if we had to eat our food without the use of our hands!

Radio telemetry receiver

Micro transmitter
Animals like Fred can be tracked by scientists using the small micro transmitter
on the right and located by researchers using the receivers on the left.
Animals can be located within a 1 mile range.

Fred the Wonder Bat was a big hit!
