The Texarkana College
Talent Search Program assists students educationally and academically
during the year through:
- Individual Counseling
- Group Presentations
- Seminars and Workshops

information on colleges, technical and trade schools
- ACT and/or SAT
registration, preparation and interpretation
- Assistance in
understanding and meeting admission requirements

- Assistance in
applying for financial aid

Financial
Aid Assistance
|
|
Educaitonal
Talent Search aids students in applying for and receiving
the aid for which they are eligible. Financial Aid Workshops
are scheduled yearly to assist students and parents
in completing the FASFA application. Students are kept
informed of application deadlines and are encouraged
to ask questions they may have about financial aid.
Also, information about financial assistance from outside
resources is available.

Transferring to a Four-Year School |
|
|
Participants transferring
to area four-year institutions are provided transportation
for campus visits. Educational Talent Search will schedule
appointments with instructors
in the field of study, the financial aid office, housing office,
and admissions.

Social and Cultural Programs |
|
| Educational Talent
Search provides access to social and cultural events in an effort
to help students achieve a well-rounded education. We realize
that part of a successful college experience involves quality
experience outside of the classroom as well as in the classroom.
