How Do I Qualify for the Program?

The Texarkana College Educational Talent Search services are available to individuals between the ages of 12 and 19 who have an interest in, and potential to succeed in Education beyond High School. Participants may meet the following criteria:

• If you are a U.S. Citizen (or legal alien)
• If you represent the first generation in your family to persue and receive a four-year degree.
• If you have economic need.
• If you have a physical disability.
• Or if you have a need for services.

Please Note

• Verification of income and academic records are required for participation.
• Educational Talent Search has been operating in the United States for more than 20 years.
• Thousands of students have been assisted through the efforts of specially trained counselors who serve students who are interested in continuign their education.
• Counselors serve area schools from offices at Texarkana College, in Texarkana, Texas.
• Talent Search is funded by a grant from the United State Department of Education.
