Have you ever wanted to learn how to make flower arrangements? Come experience hands-on learning and bring out the natural florist in yourself. We will discuss the basic techniques of floral design and the different popular types of flowers that are used on a daily basis. The cost of class includes a $25 flower supply fee. JEWELRY MAKING/BEAD WEAVING FOR BEGINNERS II

Thursdays, Feb. 27 & March 6 | 6-8:30 p.m. | $45 | 2 wks

In this bead weaving session Kathy Taylor will teach students how to make a Banded Tapestry Cuff Bracelet designed by Kathy King. The beader will bring a bracelet to life by incorporating netting of Swarovski crystals between rows of peyote stitch. A supply fee of $38.00 is due upon registration paid by check or cash to the instructor. Registration closed by Feb. 20.

In this class, Kathy Taylor will expand on techniques learned from previous classes by repeat tubular herringbone rope and peyote stitch. Students will make the Lily of the Valley Lariat herringbone rope necklace designed by Sylvia Sucipto. A supply fee of $27 is due upon registration paid by check or cash to the instructor. STAINED GLASS, BEGINNING

Tuesday/Thursday, March 18-April 17 | 6-8 p.m. | $85 | 5 wks

Join Ashley Ellison as she takes you through the basic steps of creating stained glass art. Students will have the opportunity to build, from scratch, a beautiful stained glass work using the copper foil and solder technique. This is a great class for those who have always wanted to try their hand at creating a stained glass window.

WATERCOLOR BASICS (LEVEL I)

This is a course for the first-time Watercolorist:  basic information on watercolor papers, brushes, forms of watercolor pigments, using watercolor techniques; students will complete three watercolor paintings.   Supplies furnished.  Instructor:  Betty Miller

WATERCOLOR BASICS (Level II) TIPS AND TRICKS

Tuesdays, May 6-May 27 | 6:30-8:30 p.m. | $100 (Supplies furnished by instructor) | 4 wks

We’ll use basic knowledge and experience to create textured effects with supplies such as Saran Wrap, salt, palette knives and soap.  Instructor will furnish supplies including paint, paper and loaner brushes.  Students will complete 2 or 3 paintings.  Instructor:  Betty Miller
