Admissions & Registration Checklist

Ready to apply to Texarkana College and register for classes? This checklist will help guide you through the process.  If you are currently attending another college or university and would like to take classes at Texarkana College please review our transient student policy.

  1.  Apply to Texarkana College at
  2.  Submit final transcripts to the Office of Admissions
      1. High school/GED (after graduation)
      2. All official college transcripts
      3. Mail to Office of Admissions, Texarkana College, 2500 N. Robison Rd., Texarkana, TX 75599
      4. Transcripts may be hand-delivered but must be in a sealed official envelope from the institution
  3.  Update immunizations
    1. Students under 22 will not be allowed to register until they have turned proof of a bacterial meningitis vaccination in to the Office of Admissions

  4.  Apply for financial aid and scholarships
    1. Apply for FAFSA; TC School Code: 003628
    2. Scholarship applications available online

  5.  Meet with an advisor
    1. Discuss class selection and any disability needs
    2. Workforce students must consult with faculty or advisor prior to registration
  6.  Meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements
    1. Submitted test scores to Office of Admissions
    2. Learn more about TSI requirements
  7.  Register for classes online
    1. Visit myTC
    2. Need a transcript? Request a transcript.
  8.  Sign up for orientation (College 101)
    1. $20.00 orientation fee is automatically added to your student bill.
  9.  Purchase parking permit ($15) – Parking permit application
    1. Available in the Business Office or Bursar Window
  10.   Pay for classes
    1. Tuition and fees are automatically deducted from your financial aid awards. You are responsible for paying any remaining balance
    2. Students must pay by the posted payment deadlines or their classes will be dropped for non-payment
    3. Credit card, cashier’s check or money order accepted
    4. Students may use the Installment Payment Plan for tuition and fees.  This option is available online only and can be seen when logging in to your myTC (student tab)
