Social Science Studies

Associate of Arts

Social Science Studies encompasses the fields of government, geography, history, sociology, and psychology. Texarkana College provides students with the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts in Social Science Studies degree.

An Associates degree with a concentration in Social Science provides a firm foundation for 4-year degrees in a number of fields, some of which are:

Counseling
Education
Government Agencies
History
Law enforcement
Museum curator
Pre-Law
Social Work

The social science studies program consists of 62 hours of coursework and commonly takes four semesters to complete.
