Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling

Associate of Applied Science

The Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling program offers a number of career options by providing students the opportunity to earn a one year certificate or a two year associate’s degree. Most of our students go directly into entry level counseling positions in the addictions field.

A background in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling could lead to other fields of study including:

Criminal justice
Clinical social work
Clinical psychology
Psychiatric nursing

Required coursework varies depending on which level of the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling program you decide to pursue. For more information, talk to one of our counselors.
