   Biology / Agricultural Science

Teaching Focus:

I am currently working with freshmen students who desire to major in the associated sub disiplines within the Life Sciences (Pre-Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy Dentistry).  In addition, I work with elementary education majors as a part of the Texarkana ETRC and NASA / NOVA instuctional teams.  These teams are an interdisciplinary association of science and mathematics instruction focused on improving pre-service teacher education.
My pedagogy is focused on active learning and small group learning techniques and applying scientific research tools in teaching.
