Student Organizations are highly recommended for full or part-time students. They give the student an opportunity to participate in special interest activities outside of the classroom. Listed are the organizations and contact persons that are currently available at Texarkana College.
The Student Senate of Texarkana College is composed of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and seven board members.
The Student Senate is a service organization which assumes leadership of the student body and promotes worth while student enterprises. It also serves as an advisory organization which assumes leadership of the student body in its relationship with the faculty and administration. This club is open to any student actively enrolled in TC who has an interest in agriculture and in broadening the educational activities of the agriculture students. Sponsor: Dr. Royce Granberry
The Astronomy Club was formed to promote the interest and knowledge of astronomy on the Texarkana College and Texas A&M-Texarkana campuses and in the community. Full membership is open to students and faculty of the two institutions. Others may become associate members. Sponsor: Dr. Francis Redfern

This is the National Junior College Honorary Scholastic Society which has as its aim the promotion of scholarship, the development of character, and the cultivation of fellowship among the students. Sponsor: Mary Ellen Young
The purpose of this club will be to establish a network for psychogy students on campus and throughout the community through school and club sponsored activities.
This organization's purpose is to provide additional experience and exposure in science education theory and methods for pre-service teachers, build an attitude of professionalism in pre-school teachers, and provide science out-reach activities for area children. This club is to provide students with the opportunity to experience social science activities in the real world and help decide on occupations in the social science field; to foster ties between TC Explorers and TAMU-T and to have a good time while exploring the social sciences. This club's purpose is to establish a network of computer users/ programmers both on campus and in the community through college and club sponsored events. and for ex-high school runners, who didn't reach their expectations in
